It was an unusual day.  It was the last day of  the school holidays and quite possibly the best .  In the morning  I went to the movies to watch Paddington with my friend Chloe,  it was a great movie. After the movie we found out we were going to Jellipark - cool!!   But we weren't just going swimming we went on the hydroslide yaya!


After going on the hydroslide a few times Mum dared me to jump off the highest diving board. So I lined up and in no time it was my turn. I slowly but surely got to the top, I had one look down the side and I thought no way am I doing that. I slowly walked down the steep steps with my head hanging  in shame.  


I said to myself I am not going to let this beat me so I lined up and like before it was my turn in no time.  Very nervously I climbed up 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.  I was there.  I walked onto the plank and sat down and then turned around and held on so my legs where dangling down. On the sideline of the pool some teenage boys were shouting “You can do it.”  


I  dropped into the cold water.  When I fell in it felt like 1000 needles flying into my body.  I swam to the side as fast as I could and then one of the teenage boys came and helped me out.  I was glad that I did it . I strolled over to Mum and Chloe. Mum was giggling like a teenage girl who just saw someone really funny. Chloe was too. It  hurt my feelings a little bit but I did not care as I was was too proud of myself for finally doing it!

  5. That was great writing I like how you counted down 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 that was a good effect and I think Paddington is a great movie too!
